  • Consultancy Matters provides a full suite of services from identifying the problem through to resolution.

    The founder is passionate about helping individuals out of conflict and is commercially astute and can assist and advise employers on mitigating and eliminating risks.

    With the introduction of psychosocial hazards into WHS legislation - bullying is one of many potential psychosocial hazards and therefore risks for the employer.

    Workplace conflict, poor support and job demands can all make an employee feel bullied and although not bullying by definition.

    The employer has an obligation to mitigate or eliminate these risks, which is where we can assist.

    Our methods of identification/investigation of issues do not focus on substantiating or not substantiating an employee’s allegations and therefore are not blame/fault focused.

    The review process is employer initiated and all participants equally participate within the process.

    This method ensures:

    • the investigation doesn’t escalate the risk;

    • the matter is not further inflamed; and

    • the parties are not divided any further.

    Conflict resolution can:

    • Resolve the issue

    • Improve communication and working relationships

    • Mitigate or eliminate risk

    • Mitigate lost productivity

    • Reduce the likelihood of a worker’s compensation or other claims being made

    • Increase morale & productivity
