Creating and maintaining healthy workplaces

Consultancy Matters provides a suite of workplace conflict resolution services specialising in alternatives to adversarial investigations.

Our services include workplace culture reviews through to mediation, facilitated discussions and conflict coaching and provision of training in discrimination, psychosocial hazards and conflict management.

What sets us apart?

We specialise in resolving workplace conflict without escalating risk.

Our approach is resolution‑focused, not blame‑driven. With psychosocial hazards embedded in WHS legislation, bullying is recognised as one of many psychosocial risks.

In practice, many workplace complaints stem from unresolved conflict, poor communication, leadership gaps, or systemic issues, rather than misconduct that warrants a formal investigation.

Rather than centring on allegations and individuals, we focus on identifying patterns, themes and contributing factors that are creating risk — and supporting those involved to reach practical, forward‑focused outcomes.

This approach:

  • Reduces escalation and psychological harm

  • Builds trust and engagement in the process

  • Addresses root causes rather than symptoms

  • Produces sustainable outcomes that are less likely to lead to prolonged sick leave, claims or turnover

By prioritising resolution over blame, we help organisations meet their WHS obligations while strengthening culture, capability and trust.
