  • Consultancy Matters is focused on resolution of workplace conflict through conflict resolution strategies and investigation through either a WHS psychosocial hazard assessment and/or an employer-initiated workplace culture review in lieu of workplace investigations.

    Many allegations of bullying do not meet the legislative definition although the aggrieved will feel bullied.

    Workplace investigations are an important investigative tool however are not recommended initially for allegations of bullying. If the allegation is unfounded and is conflict, the investigation can further inflame and escalate conflict.

    The utilisation of conflict resolution strategies will assist the:

    • Mitigate lost productivity

    • Reduce the likelihood of a worker’s compensation or other claims being made

  • Kirsty has a background in Employee and Industrial Relations (IR) including senior management roles and board appointments (ministerial and volunteer appointments).  Her experience spans a variety of industries from Construction through to Health and Aged Care.

    She has extensive knowledge and experience in conflict resolution and employment legislation coupled with an understanding of workplace stressors and mental health matters.

    She is passionate about improving workplace culture, developing leaders and resolving conflict. 

    Her experience dealing with mental health issues, in the workplace and personally, drives her commitment to fostering healthier, more inclusive workplaces.

  • Kirsty is passionate about environmental conservation including waste management and generally helping people within the community.

    Volunteering activity:

    • Founded a Repair Cafe in her local area to divert waste from landfill by having items repaired
